Vinyltek is proud to announce a new partnership with BC Housing, a provincial crown agency that develops and manages subsidized housing for British Columbians. The new partnership stems from significant efforts to renovate and upgrade existing housing units throughout the province.
BC Housing’s exceptionally high standards in quality drove them directly to Vinyltek in early 2006. In the past year, we have supplied them with thousands of windows and doors. Recently we were awarded several more contracts, making Vinyltek a supplier of choice for their windows and patio doors.

As of this spring, only Energy Star certified windows and patio doors are exempt from the Provincial Sales Tax (PST). At Vinyltek, this means that all windows and patio doors with LoE3 glass are eligible. VINYLTEK GOES GREEN
Over the coming months, Vinyltek will introduce a number of new environmentally responsible initiatives, such as expanding our recycling programs, ride-share incentives for our employees, and an environment-first checklist to evaluate shop and office supplies. Vinyltek already recycles several tons of vinyl every year, including all cuttings and trimmed pieces from our manufacturing process. We also recycle used aluminium frames and glass from old windows. We look forward to working with our suppliers, customers and other business partners to become your green choice for windows and doors.
